In 2010, Habitat for Humanity Wellington County will build three homes in Guelph.  

We are accepting applications from eligible families interested in partnering with us to help build their own homes.   More information on the housing program and how to apply will be given at a public meeting to be held:

In selecting partner families, Habitat considers a family’s:

• Need for decent affordable housing  (including quality, location, affordability of current housing);
• Ability and willingness to pay a mortgage and other costs of homeownership (before tax annual income in the range of $25,000 - $50,000, depending on the size of the family);
• Willingness to partner (including completing the required hours of volunteer labour (sweat equity) helping to build their home.
