Think Recycle - A new way to help your community and the environment
Do you have old cell phones or PDA’s sitting around you home? How about used cartridges from your laser or inkjet printers?
Let’s face it. Almost all of us do, and it isn’t always easy to figure out in which bag these items belong, or if they can even go in a bag.
What if by sending off one quick email you could have someone come and pick up these items from your door, ensure they are properly recycled, and in the process make a small contribution to your local neighbourhood group? This is what the new Think Recycle program does.
It’s simple. Collect up used cell phones, PDA’s, or any sort of printer cartridge, and then send an email to recycle@clairfields.org. We will arrange a date for you to leave them out on your porch and a volunteer will come pick them up. The CNG will earn funds for every qualifying cartridge or cell phone returned to us. Tell your friends and family to collect them or bring old cartridges home from work- just get them to us, so we can turn them into programs for you.
Sound like a good system? You can feel even better about it. For every 12 items we collect, our partner company will plant a tree on our behalf, helping the planet further.
Help us make our community, and our planet a better place!
Are you 65+ and looking for something to do? Well, look no further!
