Budget Feedback Required

Budget 2011 Feedback Required
Each year, the CNG receives financial support from the City of Guelph for our community building events and are required to submit a budget that reflects our neighbourhood priorities. This financial support is over and above that raised through CNG fundraising efforts. If you have comments or suggestions on the budget proposal, or have suggestions on the neighbourhood priorities or events, please contact us at clairfields@gmail.com before March 25, 2011. Don’t forget, we always need volunteers, if you’d like to be part of the team planning and coordinating events, contact us anytime.

Gosling Gardens Rink Committee

The skating Rink at Gosling Gardens has been approved by the City, and our very own ‘rink rats’ are out early mornigns and late nights flooding and smoothing the surface.

One of your neighbors has kindly offered to be Rink Co-coordinator:
Tim Verdun; 138 Clairfields Drive West; (905)301-1551 cell

He has a list of volunteers and is setting up a buddy system on rotation.
If you would like to help in any way, please contact him  at goslingrink@hotmail.ca or the CNG at clairfields@gmail.com.
If you are unable to help flood or clear the ice, maybe you can provide adult supervision or hot chocolate one cold day  - all help would be  appreciated.

Adopt-A-Family 2010

'ADOPT A FAMILY'

We need your help to provide (via gifts) a great Christmas for a local family in need...
Following the resounding success last year, when the Clairfields Neighbourhood Group (CNG) chose to 'Adopt a Family’ we are once again helping a family in need this year.  This scheme is run by the 'Children's Foundation of Guelph and Wellington' to help out local families at this special time of year. Your support can provide a wonderful season to 'our' selected family who live in the Guelph area.

Due to YOUR overwhelming generosity last year (which was a single dad & 2 children) this year we have ‘adopted’ a larger family - so we have 6 children and their parents =
Dad, Mom, Suzie aged 19, Helena aged 17, Lisa aged 15, Margaret aged 14, Aaron aged 11 and Abrahm aged 8.
We have a kind and supportive neighbourhood and we can make a difference to this family.  Read more...
